Stacey and Marc had some friends staying in Venice so for part of the shoot we headed to their funky rooftop and found some fun places along the way. I have to say so many of the photos for their engagement session were set up by them. It was like having two creative directors to help!
We wanted to give the shoot a California feel because they are both from Oklahoma so I tried to shoot bright colors, palm trees, and lots of sunlight. This teal garage door is a fav! Stacey’s make-up was flawless, Casey Cheek did an amazing job!
To switch it up a bit, we went from crowded, ever-changing Venice to an untouched, completely natural hiking trail in Malibu Canyon. The crazy thing is this location is what I imagine Oklahoma looking like. The contrast of city and country was fun to play with.
I love bubble photos! They are super fun to photograph because of they way they reflect light and how each one is completely unique. Plus they both look hot in these photos, woot!
