This is my happy place. My hope is that someday it will
be one of yours as well.

By following along, you'll get to know me a little better, but

destination, my grandma’s never ending hugs, wobbly toddlers, running
really really fast, fine art, my beach cruiser, an ice cold
dirty martini, a piping hot vanilla latte, lazy days, feeling
accomplished, Paula Abdul, uncontrollable laughter, Lifetime movies, memories,
capturing memories.

Kelly & John St. Thomas Wedding Photos

I am beyond excited to post part one of John & Kelly’s wedding in St. Thomas. I’ve known Kelly for over three years and have never seen her so incredibly happy, bubbly, and relaxed. When Kelly asked me to shoot the wedding, I was elated and actually really nervous. She is a great friend and huge supporter of my photography so I knew I would pressure myself to make the images perfect. Luckily, the second we flew over the island and saw the ridiculous colors and stunning views, I realized it was going to be a bit easier than I thought.

Normally I am sort of a stress case as I arrive for a big wedding day, but there is something about the Virgin Islands that makes you forget your worries and completely enjoy the moments. Ok, I am getting sad as the tune in my head of Bob Marley fades…enjoy part one!

As you can see, Quinn really enjoyed the ceremony.So lovely!

John + Kelly - There are no words to describe how truly thankful we are and how blessed we feel to have had you photograph our wedding. Emily, you captured those moments, brief frozen segments of time that convey so many emotions, feelings and memories for us. We have an emotional tie to these lovely images. The photographs are invested moments, and we’ll save these moments for later, and one day, one of those moments will take our breath away, and remind us of the spaces before and after the photograph.
