Leo and Doris hold a special place in my heart because I’ve known them for quite a while. I’d worked with Leo for a few years when I met Doris (they weren’t dating yet) at Chris and Garry’s wedding. When I found out the two were an item, I secretly hoped that one day in would turn into more…and sure enough it did! Leo is one of my all-time favorite photographers and a great friend so I’m honored and excited to be a part of their day. I have literally hundreds of favorites from our shoot in Hidden Hills, Santa Barbara, and Santa Monica. Here are just a few!

I met with Ivan and Anabel just for a quick pre-engagement shoot so we could get a photo for their save the date and ended up with some of my favorite photos yet! Anabel put together the most adorable wardrobe for the session. I am just loving the plaid/cardigan combo for winter engagement and family shoots. I can’t wait for the full e-session coming up!

I just finished up a mini engagement and family photo session, both in Beverly Hills at Franklin Canyon Park. Today the park was absolutely beautiful, it looked and felt just like Fall. Here is a preview of both shoots, there are lots more to come soon!

Janet & Jonathan Engagement Photos – Santa Monica Beach

Santa Monica is one of my favorite spots for engagement sessions so when Jonathan and Janet told me they got engaged there, I knew the shoot would be extra awesome. I was a bit worried that we’d run out of light, but that was definitely not the case! The light down on the beach at sunset was juuuuust perfect.

Vishwa & Noya Engagement Photos Preview – Franklin Canyon Park

Vishwa and Noya are getting married at Franklin Canyon Park in a few weeks so we went to check it out on Saturday. Vishwa found this spot that I fell in love with! We had less than 30 minutes to shoot some quick engagement photos and I’m super pleased with the results. Here is a preview, I’ll post more soon!

Jon & Mindy Engagement Photos – Japanese Garden, Portland OR

I LOVE shooting in Portland so I was super excited to get my cousin’s engagement session in while I was up there last. Jon and I have known each other since birth, our parents are twins, so I’m especially happy for these two! Mindy is adorable and SUCH a sweetheart. She will be a wonderful addition to the family for sure. Jon chose The Japanese Garden for the shoot location, which turned out to be absolutely beautiful, one of the best spots in Portland.

Kenisha and Dahrik Manhattan Beach Engagement Session Part 1

I was so excited to meet Kenisha and Dahrik for a few reasons. First, a client turned amazing friend Kanieka referred them to me. Second, it was my first engagement session of 2011 and you know I LOVE me some e-session photos. I was even more excited to see that they brought along their photographer’s dream of a daughter, literally one of the most beautiful three-year-olds I’ve ever seen.

We met at the Bellamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach last Saturday in the early evening. We shot around on N. Valley Dr., which is turning out to be one of my favorite photography locations in LA. It was the most perfect day at the beach so I was doing my overly-cheesy-“OMG” thing the whole time. So much so that Dahrik actually made a few comments about it :)

We had a blast and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results, here is part 1:
Love this series.SO cute.
